Ohio Partners for Affordable Energy protects energy consumers and the agencies that deliver energy assistance to underserved households. Our team is active in the Ohio Statehouse, local governments and the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.

PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF OHIO
Lobbied the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio to fund additional direct bill assistance programs.
SECURING FUNDING FROM STATE
Worked with state leaders to secure a 5% increase to the Low Income Housing Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) to fund agency administrative costs.
STATEHOUSE POLICY MAKERS
Collaborate with Statehouse leadership to fund cutting edge energy efficiency programs and act as the voice for all Ohio energy consumers.
SUSTAINABILITY
Advocating for a 25% waiver and use of 5% of that waiver to fund community solar.
