The Ohio Weatherization Training Center worked alongside MVCAP to open an additional training hub in Dayton Ohio. The successful open house event took place on October 28th. Mayor Mims attended the opening. COAD was presented with a proclamation from the Ohio House of Representatives.
   
We were able to hold the first three days of classes at the new facility. Trainer Dave Freeman is seen below teaching Lead RRP-I to a group of 10 students. Dave reported back that the space worked very well for training and the students were engaged and had a great time learning about working lead safe in the new prop house! The prop house is officially an
approved BPI test site as well. We look forward to providing you training in Dayton.
Our first training Hub at LEADS in Newark, Ohio was established in Oct. Of 2021. It took a considerable amount of work to adapt the house to fit the needs of training. About 40% of our trainings have taken place at this location over the past year. This is also a BPI certified test site.
